Wounded

You cannot imagine how or what will happen next as you only heard about military coup from family members or relatives who survived from the last one. All you hear is that how bad it was, how many people were killed.

Imagine in some minutes your life turns to hell. You see in news on TV that the military took control of the state. Of course that is not something you see everyday or hear. You would not believe it. You would think it is a joke, a bad one. You will keep making joke about, as you do not believe it. But in some minutes you see that is real because on official website of your army it is declared to have curfew in whole country, the airport is blocked by military tanks. The most famous bridge between two continentals are blocked.

You start to feel terrified, scared or unstable. Then everyone starts to call their beloved ones, families, friends to hear if they are ok. You start to check your mobile phones if you have enough battery. You check if you have food to stock, enough water to survive for few days incase you will not be allowed to go on streets. If you are far away from your family then you start to how they are and when you will be able to see them again or if they will be safe or maybe you will never see them again.

Because you know nothing.

You cannot imagine how or what will happen next as you only heard about military coup from family members or relatives who survived from the last one. All you hear is that how bad it was, how many people were killed. All you know is what you see from movies about how they were tortured in prison and how people were just disappeared without notice.

You were born in democracy even though you know it is not perfect, you know that things are going worse but you still keep hope as you still believe that you will be able to change. You can still imagine and dream for a better democracy but you know with military you cannot imagine such thing, you know that in the nature of army there is not spirit of democracy.

Moreover, you are in middle of training course on topic of non violent communication and you witness that your parliament is being bombed by air forces, you see it live and you still think that is a horror movie but a phone call to check if you are safe wakes you up from that dream and tells you, hey man you are in real hell.

You stare at your participants and see how they are terrified and you witness they call their families and try to find the comfort by hearing their voice, telling them to stay safe and telling them they are fine as well.

You keep watching the news and you see it is 5 am. The military forces are still on control and you hear your president says it will be all fine and you see many people are already dead and many people are on street.

Deep inside you know that nothing will be fine anymore, you know that you are already wounded deeply and you do not know anymore what to feel as you start to lose your mind and control. You know that innocent will be the bates and tomorrow none will remember them. You know them their life were meaning nothing.

You see all this violence and you still think can non violent communication solve it? You think can you still deliver a piece of knowledge that cannot the world for a better place. But for that moment, you cannot answer to yourself.

You also think if you will see your beloved ones again, you think about your life, think about what you have done the world.

You fell in sleep on the ground in front of TV and wake up with pain on your back but you don’t care because you know you can heal it with simple exercises. You check the news immediately. You see that the military coup is stopped and many soldiers are arrested but still you are not happy, you are not smiling.

Because you are already wounded deeply…
